The tariffs the Trump administration slapped on specific industries \u2013 like cars, steel, and aluminum \u2013 aren\u2019t part of Friday\u2019s court ruling. Instead, the decision targeted Trump\u2019s sweeping tariffs applied to nearly every country, which he justified by pointing to America\u2019s massive trade deficit in goods.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sent Trump into a fiery outburst<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

A court ruling that the Trump administration\u2019s trade tariffs are unlawful amounts to a sharp legal rebuke of the U.S. president. But Trump wasted no time firing back.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In a fiery Truth Social<\/a> post, he wrote:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cALL TARIFFS ARE STILL IN EFFECT! Today a Highly Partisan Appeals Court incorrectly said that our Tariffs should be removed, but they know the United States of America will win in the end. If these Tariffs ever went away, it would be a total disaster for the Country. It would make us financially weak, and we have to be strong.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The president doubled down, warning that the ruling could \u201cliterally destroy\u201d America if allowed to stand. He insisted tariffs are his best weapon to defend American workers and slammed politicians of the past for letting foreign nations walk all over U.S. industry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Massive financial implications<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

\u201cAt the start of this Labor Day weekend, we should all remember that TARIFFS are the best tool to help our Workers, and support Companies that produce great MADE IN AMERICA products,\u201d Trump wrote. \u201cNow, with the help of the United States Supreme Court, we will use them to the benefit of our Nation, and Make America Rich, Strong, and Powerful Again!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

But critics warn the ruling could have massive financial implications \u2014 including forcing the Trump administration to refund billions in tariffs already collected.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Meanwhile, global markets remain on edge, with fears that U.S. consumers could face higher prices on everyday goods if the trade war drags on.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
