As she scurried for shelter, her sneakers crushed against the ground with each step she took. Some distance in front of her, she saw the sophisticated glass entryway of a trendy new establishment. It was Maison du Soleil, a fashionable caf\u00e9 that was reported to be frequented by affluent regulars, celebrities, and influential people.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The fact that it was exclusive was irrelevant to Elaine. All that she want was to enter the building, dry off, and perhaps place an order for something warm. With her jacket clinging to her body tightly, she neared the entryway. In spite of this, a tall guy dressed in a suit appeared in front of her before she could even pull the door open.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The doorman answered in a manner that was more patronizing than professional, \u201cMa\u2019am, this caf\u00e9 is reserved exclusively for those who have made reservations.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Elaine said, \u201cI just need shelter until the rain lets up,\u201d as an attempt was made to grin despite the fact that she was shivering. The phrase \u201cI\u2019ll order something\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
While he was giving her a careful, critical once-over, the man\u2019s eyes furrowed in concentration. As he moved even farther into her path, he said, \u201cThis isn\u2019t really\u2026 that kind of place.\u201d \u201cTo tell you the truth, it does not appear that you would be able to afford to eat here anyway.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the evening, the caf\u00e9 was a dazzling sight. The wait staff meticulously cleaned the glasses until they glistened like crystal, the napkins were folded in such a way that they fit exactly, and the aroma of freshly baked rosemary bread wafted from the kitchen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Following the arrival of the visitors, Derek made a beeline to meet and greet everyone. As Mr. Grant introduced everyone, he did so with a beaming smile of pride.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
