I politely said, \u2018No thank-you.\u2019<\/p>\n\n\n\n
To this day I still have no Idea what was said about me.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
And Friend, it doesn\u2019t matter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
What I do know is that I saw this mom a few weeks later at the grocery store and greeted her with a smile and open arms.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
To this day she has no idea that I am aware of the fact that she said something unkind behind my back.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
And Friend, it doesn\u2019t matter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The tables you aren\u2019t invited to sit at don\u2019t matter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The opinions of others don\u2019t matter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
What another person thinks about you really doesn\u2019t matter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
It has taken me almost 32 years now to realize that the one and only thing that matters when it comes to what is \u2018said\u2019 about me is what God says about me.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In case you need a little reminder today, in case you need your heart filled to the brim with wonderful words about you, here\u2019s a few:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u2018She is more precious than jewels, and nothing you desire can compare with her.\u2019 -Proverbs 3:15<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u2018Strength and dignity are her clothing, and she laughs at the time to come\u2019 -Proverbs 31:25<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u2018God is in the midst of her; she shall not be moved; God will help her when morning dawns.\u2019 -Psalm 46:5<\/p>\n\n\n\n
When you see yourself in the light of God\u2019s love for you, the thoughts, words, and opinions of those around you all start to fade away.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
