{"id":2660,"date":"2025-11-11T12:53:41","date_gmt":"2025-11-11T12:53:41","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/humorsidehub.com\/?p=2660"},"modified":"2025-11-11T12:53:42","modified_gmt":"2025-11-11T12:53:42","slug":"i-feel-bad-for-your-husband-youve-gained-so-much-weight-mom-of-5-urges-weight-does-not-reflect-worth","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/humorsidehub.com\/?p=2660","title":{"rendered":"\u2018I feel bad for your husband, you\u2019ve gained SO much weight!\u2019: Mom of 5 urges \u2018weight does not reflect worth\u2019"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cI feel so bad for your husband,&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.lovewhatmatters.com\/whens-the-baby-coming-my-face-turns-red-in-starbucks-im-not-pregnant-and-ive-been-struggling-to-be-woman-battling-infertility-reminds-us-words-have-weight-vows-to\/\">you\u2019ve gained SO much weight<\/a>.\u2019 \u2018And you\u2019re only halfway there, your poor husband.\u2019 \u2018I see that baby weight\u2026\u2019<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Last week after posting a photo of our family at Mya\u2019s birthday pool party, I started receiving comments and messages all centered around my \u2018baby weight,\u2019 how much weight I\u2019ve gained or how quickly I\u2019ve gained it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\" id=\"attachment_243620\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/lwm-a2.azureedge.net\/uploads\/2021\/07\/IMG_1777-900x878.jpg\" alt=\"Mixed race family with pregnant mom\" class=\"wp-image-243620\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I\u2019m not going to lie, I noticed it when I looked at the picture we had taken and a small part of me was self conscious, but there was a larger portion of me that was grateful, so I shared it anyway, unedited to reflect my body as it is.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I have maternity pictures with all my children, except Jaxden. I threw them away after looking at them, because I hated my body. It\u2019s one of my biggest regrets. I took a moment where my body was housing human life, and I threw away every memory I would have of it because of how the miracle growing on the inside, made my body look on the outside.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.lovewhatmatters.com\/everything-would-change-between-us-single-mother-by-choice-mom-sperm-donor-gastroschisis-parenting\/\">Pregnancy<\/a>&nbsp;is hard, living in a body that can often feel as if it\u2019s not even your own is difficult, but&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.lovewhatmatters.com\/how-could-this-happen-one-ovary-and-one-fallopian-tube-i-saw-two-lines-plain-as-day-on-the-pregnancy-test-hysterectomy-hellp-syndrome-preeclampsia-miracle-preemie\/\">carrying children is a miracle<\/a>. As each piece of them grows safely within you, each muscle, artery, vein, skin cell, organ, and more, builds perfectly to be the child you\u2019ll bring into the world. Each picture we take reflects those things and yet all we see is weight gain and how our body has changed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Your body is beautiful. Weight does not reflect value or worth.
