Andrew Cuomo in the Nov. 4 election.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cI hate the guy,\u201d Portnoy said of Mamdani. \u201cI can\u2019t stand the thought of him running New York City. I can\u2019t stand it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\" id=\"attachment_11091\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/huffbreak.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/8-nov-3.1.webp\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-11091\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThirty-something-year-old Communist running New York City who\u2019s never had a job in his life, hates America \u2014 doesn\u2019t seem like the best.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Portnoy, 48, weighed the pros and cons of getting out of Manhattan during Mamdani\u2019s reign.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cHonestly, I\u2019ve given that a lot of thought \u2014 he\u2019s definitely going to win \u2014 going to Hoboken or Jersey City or something,\u201d Portnoy said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cI don\u2019t want to f\u2013king have an office [in Manhattan]. But then we have all those people who, like, that f\u2013ks up their life because I hate the guy. Like, all the people in the New York office have to go to Jersey City or \u2026 Hoboken. So it\u2019s a Catch-22.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Still, Portnoy indicated he\u2019s seriously weighing an exit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cA&nbsp;part of me is like, how much will actually change? But I really have given it thought,\u201d he said. \u201cI told our finance guys to start looking around for property, no joke.
