When it arrived, she \u2018just screamed.\u2019"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">That\u2019s not what anyone was expecting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Kelsey Dawn Williamson, 23, from Benton, Illinois has ordered over 50 shirts from AliExpress, an online retailer based out of Hangzhou, China. But when the Frog and Toad shirt she ordered on May 10 arrived, she \u201cliterally did not know how to react so I just took a few moments to stare at it and try to process.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The infant-sized shirt has a picture of the iconic reptiles from the children\u2019s book series riding old-fashioned bikes with \u201cFUCK THE POLICE\u201d written at the bottom.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Williamson posted a photo of her daughter Salem in the shirt on Facebook and it quickly went viral.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The shirt that was delivered looked exactly like the one in the online store, just without the caustic N.W.A. lyric.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.upworthy.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2026\/02\/origin_7b264d.jpg?w=1200&amp;quality=80\" alt=\"China, comedy, NWA\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">While it seems utterly bizarre that someone would create a shirt with \u201cFUCK THE POLICE\u201d written beneath a picture of Frog and Toad \u2014 a duo who\u2019ve never been known to harbor ill will against law enforcement \u2014 there\u2019s a good reason.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Memes featuring Frog and Toad <a href=\"https:\/\/knowyourmeme.com\/memes\/frog-and-toad\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">are so popular<\/a> they have <a href=\"https:\/\/www.reddit.com\/r\/frogandtoadmemes\/\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">their own subreddit.<\/a> The shirtmaker, who probably doesn\u2019t have a license to use Frog and Toad, must have got the photo from a Google search. The person who made the shirt was most likely Chinese and either didn\u2019t speak English or has a very poor eye for detail.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">After Williamson received the shirt, she Facetimed her husband and they screamed together. \u201cWe both just lost it, dying of laughter,\u201d <a href=\"https:\/\/www.buzzfeednews.com\/article\/tanyachen\/chinese-retailer-ali-express-surprised-midwestern-mom-with?utm_source=dynamic&amp;utm_campaign=bffbbuzzfeednews&amp;ref=bffbbuzzfeednews\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">she told Buzzfeed.<\/a> \u201cAll he could say was \u2018Oh shit.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cI\u2019ve told [Salem], \u2018People really like your frog shirt!\u2019\u201d Williamson said. But she\u2019s not letting her child wear the offensive shirt to preschool. \u201cIt\u2019s going in her baby box so we can bring it up when she\u2019s older.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Unfortunately, the incident has been all laughs for Williamson. She edited her post to address her daughter\u2019s weight but refuses to take it down. \u201cSHE SEES SPECIALISTS FOR HER WEIGHT. SHE CANT HELP IT. I CANT HELP IT. MY HUSBAND CANT HELP IT. IT IS OUT OF OUR CONTROL.
